Sick VTF18-4P1112 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick VTF18-4P1112 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 6012811) is a robust cylindrical sensor designed for accurate short-range object detection in industrial automation applications. It uses background blanking technology, allowing the sensor to detect objects reliably while ignoring background surfaces.

The sensor features infrared LED light with focused optics, producing a precise Ø 3 mm light spot at 50 mm, which enables accurate detection of small objects. With a sensing range of up to 100 mm and an effective range of 90 mm, it is suitable for packaging machines, conveyors, and automated assembly systems.

The device operates on a 10–30 V DC power supply and provides a PNP switching output with selectable light/dark switching via control cable. Built with nickel-plated brass housing and IP67 protection, the sensor ensures durable and reliable performance in harsh industrial environments.
