The Sick GRTB18S-P2317 Photoelectric Sensor (1076095) is a photoelectric proximity sensor with background suppression, designed for reliable object detection at close to mid-range distances. Featuring a cylindrical M18 housing (18 × 18 × 38.1 mm) and axial optical axis, it detects objects from 20 mm to 150 mm, with a maximum range of 300 mm.

A PinPoint red LED (650 nm) emits a focused 7 mm light spot at 100 mm, ensuring high detection accuracy. The sensor offers easy adjustment via a 270° potentiometer, and clear status indication through green (power) and yellow (object detection) LEDs.

Built to operate on 10–30 VDC, it integrates seamlessly into industrial automation systems requiring precise object presence detection, even in environments with reflective backgrounds.
