Sick GRL18S-P2436 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick GRL18S-P2436 Photoelectric Sensor (1069072) is a compact and reliable photoelectric retro-reflective sensor designed for precise object detection in demanding industrial environments. Using an advanced dual lens system with minimum distance to reflector, it delivers accurate sensing even in tight installation spaces.

The sensor offers a sensing range of 0.06 m to 6 m, with a maximum range up to 7.2 m, ensuring flexibility across conveyor, packaging, and material handling applications. Equipped with a PinPoint LED and visible red light (650 nm), the sensor provides easy alignment and stable detection. Its PNP complementary output, light/dark switching, and fast response time below 500 µs support high-speed automation.

The cylindrical M18 housing, robust IP67 enclosure, and integrated polarisation filter ensure dependable operation in dusty or humid conditions. With a long MTTFD of 2,686 years, this sensor guarantees durability and minimal maintenance.
