Sharp LQ080V3DG01 LCD Module

The Sharp LQ080V3DG01 LCD Module is a 8.0-inch a-Si TFT-LCD panel delivers reliable performance in a compact form factor, ideal for embedded systems, industrial controls, and legacy interfaces. Boasting a VGA resolution of 640×480 pixels at 100 PPI, it offers a balanced mix of screen clarity and display area across a 162.24 mm × 121.68 mm active region.

This panel’s luminance of 380 cd/m² ensures good readability under standard lighting conditions, while a 250:1 contrast ratio offers basic but functional differentiation between light and dark areas. Though modest by modern display standards, these figures are sufficient for applications where color precision and extreme contrast aren’t mission-critical.

Its viewing angles of 65° in both horizontal directions and 65°/55° vertical (CR≥10) allow for decent off-center visibility, and the response time of 30 ms rise / 50 ms fall supports static or slow-changing content, such as control dashboards or data logs.

The panel uses a TN, Normally White, Transmissive mode, providing a crisp white background while maintaining power efficiency. It supports 262K colors via a parallel RGB (1 ch, 6-bit) interface, delivered through a 32-pin connector, which makes integration into older systems more straightforward.


Technical Precautions :-
  • It is a front polarizer. It may damaged. Please be cautious. Don’t scratch it.
  • Always turn off the power supply when you are inserting or disconnecting it from the input connector.
  • Wipe off water drop immediately as it may cause discoloration or spots.
  • Please handle with great care. It may broken or cracked if dropped or bumped on hard surface.
  • Do not try to open or modify the module assembly.
  • At the insertion or removal of the Signal Interface Connector do not rotate or tilt the Interface Connector of the TFT Module. It may damage the panel.
  • Severe temperature condition may  result in different luminance, response time.
