Panasonic PM-L25 Photoelectric Sensor

The Panasonic PM-L25 Photoelectric Sensor, identified by part number PML25, adheres to CE Marking Directives, ensuring compliance with EMC and RoHS standards. The sensor has a fixed sensing range of 6 mm. This range is ideal for precise object detection. It can detect objects as small as 0.8 × 1.2 mm. Constructed with durable materials such as PBT and polycarbonate, the sensor exhibits reliability and longevity. It offers IP64 protection against dust ingress and robust resistance to vibration and shock, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.

It offers a U-Shaped fixed sensing range of 6 mm (0.236 in) and can detect minimum sensing objects as small as 0.8 × 1.2 mm (0.031 × 0.047 in), making it suitable for precise object detection tasks. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 5 to 24 V DC with ±10% tolerance and consumes a low current of 15 mA or less, ensuring efficient energy usage.

Designed with an NPN open-collector transistor output, the Panasonic PM-L25 U-Shaped Photoelectric Sensor can handle a maximum sink current of 50 mA and an applied voltage of 30 V DC or less. It features two output options: Light-ON and Dark-ON, providing flexibility for various application requirements. The sensor includes built-in short-circuit protection and achieves rapid response times of 20 μs or less under light received conditions and 80 μs or less under light interrupted conditions.
