    Panasonic NA2-N12-PN Area Sensor

    The Panasonic NA2-N12-PN Area Sensor, with part number UNA2N12PN, NA2N12PN, is a compact and highly reliable area sensor with 12 detection beams, designed for precise object detection in industrial applications. It features a sensing height of 220 mm and supports long-range operation up to 5 meters, with a beam pitch of 20 mm for accurate detection of opaque objects with diameters of 30 mm or more.

    The sensor incorporates a PNP open-collector output, with short-circuit protection, LED indicators, and a job indicator function for easy diagnostics and status monitoring. It operates on 12–24 V DC and delivers a 10 ms response time, with an interference prevention function to ensure stable performance even in multi-sensor environments.

    Built with a durable heat-resistant ABS enclosure, it includes a 3 m 4-core cable and supports extension up to 25 m. The NA2-N12-PN is ideal for object presence, counting, and positioning in automation systems.
