    Panasonic NA1-PK5-PN Picking Sensor

    The Panasonic NA1-PK5-PN Picking Sensor, with part number UNA1PK5, NA1PK5 offers a 100 mm sensing height and a sensing range of 0.1 to 1.2 m, or 0.05 to 0.5 m in SHORT mode, adjustable between the emitter and receiver. With a 25 mm beam pitch and 5 beam channels, it reliably detects ø35 mm or larger opaque objects.

    This model features a PNP open-collector output, supporting up to 100 mA sink current with short-circuit protection. Output behaviour is configurable: activate ON/OFF when one or more, or two or more beams, are interrupted via a mode switch. Fast response time (≤10 ms) ensures compatibility with dynamic applications.

    Built-in interference prevention allows stable operation even with nearby sensors. Multiple LED indicators (power, job, operation, and beam status) simplify alignment and diagnostics. The unit is CE compliant and rated IP62, suitable for industrial environments.

    It operates in -10 to +55 °C, handles 50 G shock, and withstands vibration up to 0.75 mm at 150 Hz. The infrared LED (950 nm) emitter and oil-resistant 2 m cable (extendable to 100 m) ensure durability in automation setups.
