    Panasonic NA1-5-PN Picking Sensor

    The Panasonic NA1-5-PN Body Picking Sensor (UNA15PN, NA15PN) is a slim, high-performance area sensor engineered for precise object detection across a 100 mm sensing height using 5 infrared beam channels with a 25 mm pitch. It supports a configurable sensing range of 0.2 to 3 m (0.05 to 1 m in SHORT mode), making it ideal for applications such as part presence verification, conveyor monitoring, and small object detection.

    Equipped with a PNP open-collector output (max. 100 mA), the NA1-5-PN features selectable logic modes—activating on single or dual beam interruption—and built-in short-circuit protection. The receiver provides intuitive status feedback via operation, stability, and job indicators, while the emitter includes power and job LEDs for clear diagnostics.

    Designed for industrial environments, it offers IP62 protection, reliable operation in ambient temperatures from -10 to +55 °C, and robust shock/vibration resistance. The housing is constructed from heat-resistant ABS with acrylic lens covers. With a 2 m oil-resistant cable and support for up to 100 m extension, the NA1-5-PN ensures flexible, easy integration into automation systems.
