The GL-18HL sensor provides a maximum operation distance of 12 mm ± 10% and a stable sensing range of 0 to 10 mm. It is specifically designed for industrial environments, reliably detecting standard objects like iron sheets. Operating efficiently with a supply voltage of 10 to 30 V DC, it consumes 10 mA or less. The sensor features an NPN open-collector transistor output with a maximum sink current of 100 mA. Additionally, a red LED indicator lights up when the output is ON.
Built to withstand harsh conditions, the GL-18HL is IP67 rated and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +70 ℃. The Panasonic GL-18HL inductive proximity sensor features a robust polyarylate enclosure and oil-resistant cabtyre cable for durability. Additionally, its vibration and shock resistance of 1,000 m/s² ensure reliability in demanding applications. The sensor maintains its performance with minimal sensing range variation despite temperature and voltage fluctuations, ensuring accuracy and stability.
