    Panasonic FD-31 Fibre Optic Sensor

    The Panasonic FD-31 Fiber Optic Sensor, with part number UFD31, embodies precision and reliability, designed for reflective sensing applications. Featuring a threaded type fibre with an M3 diameter head measuring 12 mm in length, it ensures accurate detection with a top-view beam direction and beam axis accuracy maintained at 150 micrometres for position and plus or minus 3 degrees for inclination.

    Equipped with a 2-meter fibre cable and an allowable bending radius of R2 mm, the FD-31 offers flexibility in installation, with the option for free-cutting. While it does not include mounting lenses, it is compatible with protective tubes such as FTP-N500, FTP-N1000, and FTP-N1500, enhancing its durability for various industrial environments.

    Manufactured in Japan, the Panasonic FD-31 Fibre Optic Sensor upholds stringent quality standards, boasting IP67 protection against environmental factors and operating reliably within a temperature range spanning from -55 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius. With sensing ranges ranging from 25 mm up to 515 mm, the FD-31, when paired with the FX-500 series amplifiers, delivers versatile and dependable performance, making it suitable for a wide range of general-purpose applications.
