Panasonic CX-491-P Photoelectric Sensor

The Panasonic CX-491-P Photoelectric Sensor is a high-performance sensing solution designed for precise object detection in industrial applications. Featuring a sensing range of up to 3 meters with the RF-230 reflector, this sensor efficiently detects opaque, translucent, or specular objects with a minimum size of Ø50 mm.

Built for reliable operation, it offers PNP open-collector transistor output, switchable between Light-ON or Dark-ON modes, with a fast 1 ms response time. The automatic interference prevention function enables close mounting of two units without signal disruption.

Its rugged IP67-rated housing, made of PBT and acrylic materials, ensures durability in harsh environments. It withstands vibration (10 to 500 Hz) and shock (500 m/s²), making it ideal for demanding industrial settings. The red LED emitter (680 nm) ensures accurate and consistent performance, while the sensitivity adjuster allows for fine-tuned detection.
