Panasonic CX-441 Photoelectric Sensor

The Panasonic CX-441 Photoelectric Sensor, with part number (Part Number: UCX441) is a compact, high-precision diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor designed for close-range object detection with adjustable sensitivity. It features an adjustable sensing range of 20 to 50 mm (0.787 to 1.969 in) and can reliably detect objects as close as 2 mm, depending on the model and material reflectivity.

Operating on a 12 to 24 V DC supply, the sensor consumes just 20 mA or less and uses an NPN open-collector output, supporting sink currents up to 100 mA. The output is switchable between Detection-ON and Detection-OFF, with built-in short-circuit protection. With a response time of 1 ms or less, it ensures quick and accurate detection in high-speed applications.

The distance adjuster is a 5-turn mechanical type for precise range setting. Additional features include BGS/FGS sensing mode switching, a green LED stability indicator, and an orange LED output indicator. The unit is IP67-rated, resistant to vibration, shock, and ambient illuminance up to 3,000 lx, ensuring durability in industrial settings.
