Leuze PRKL55/6.22-S8 Photoelectric Sensor

The Leuze PRKL55/6.22-S8 Photoelectric Sensor (50105796) is a premium laser-based retro-reflective sensor designed for high-precision detection in demanding industrial environments. It features a collimated red laser beam (655 nm) with a small 2 mm light spot, ensuring accurate detection even for small or fast-moving objects.

With a guaranteed operating range up to 2 meters and 3 meters typical, this sensor delivers consistent performance in packaging, material handling, and food processing applications. Its fast 0.25 ms response time and 2,000 Hz switching frequency make it ideal for high-speed automation systems.

The sensor includes a teach input and teach button for easy sensitivity adjustment, along with push-pull output supporting both PNP and NPN switching. Built with a robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing and IP67/IP69K protection, it is perfectly suited for washdown and hygienic environments. Clean Proof+ and ECOLAB compatibility further ensure resistance to aggressive cleaning agents.
