Leuze PRK5B.M1/2 Photoelectric Sensor

The Leuze PRK5B.M1/2 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 50149300, PRK5BM12) is a compact photoelectric retro-reflective sensor designed for reliable object detection in industrial automation applications. Operating on the reflection principle, it provides a guaranteed operating range of 0.03 to 4.5 m and a typical range of up to 6 m when used with a TK(S) 100x100 reflector.

The sensor uses a 645 nm red LED with pulsed transmission for dependable detection. It features an NPN digital switching output, 500 Hz switching frequency, and a fast 1 ms response time. A 270° potentiometer enables convenient sensitivity adjustment.

The IP67-rated PC-ABS housing offers protection against dust and water, while polarity reversal and short-circuit protection enhance operational reliability. With a 10–30 V DC supply and 2 m, 3-wire PVC cable, it is suitable for demanding industrial environments.
