Leuze PRK5B/4X-M8 Photoelectric Sensor

The Leuze PRK5B/4X-M8 Photoelectric Sensor (50145252) is a compact and high-performance sensor designed for precise object detection in industrial automation. Operating on the reflection principle with a guaranteed range of 0.02 to 5 m and a typical range up to 6.5 m (with reflector TK(S) 100x100), it uses a red LED light source at 645 nm with pulsed transmission for stable and reliable performance.

The sensor features a PNP transistor digital switching output with selectable light or dark switching by reversing polarity. It supports fast response times of 1 ms, a switching frequency of 500 Hz, and a wide supply voltage range of 10–30 V DC. Built with a durable PC-ABS plastic housing, IP67 protection, and ECOLAB-certified material compatibility, this sensor ensures reliable operation in demanding environments from -40 to 60 °C.
