The Leuze PRK5/4P-200-M12 Photoelectric Sensor Part No.- 50117704 is a cutting-edge solution for industrial automation. The Series PRK5 sensor operates on the reflection principle, offering a guaranteed sensing range of 0.02 to 4.5 m, and a typical range up to 6 m when used with a TK(S) 100x100 reflector. It uses a 620 nm red LED light source, classified in the Exempt Group per EN 62471, ensuring eye safety.

This sensor supports light and dark switching via two PNP transistor outputs, and it reacts quickly with a 1 ms response time and 500 Hz switching frequency. It operates on 10–30 V DC with 0–15% ripple, and consumes up to 20 mA.

Connectivity is provided through a 200 mm PUR-sheathed cable with an M12, 4-pin A-coded male connector, making it easy to integrate. The compact ABS housing (14 × 32.5 × 20.2 mm) and IP67 protection ensure durability in harsh environments, with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 60 °C.

The unit features LED indicators, complies with IEC 60947-5-2, and is certified by c UL US.
