Leuze PRK3CL1.A3/4T-M8 Photoelectric Sensor

The Leuze PRK3CL1.A3/4T-M8 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 50129411), part of the 3C series, is a compact, high-precision laser retro-reflective sensor optimized for demanding detection tasks. It operates on the reflection principle, achieving a typical range of 3 m and a guaranteed range of 2 m when used with the MTKS 50x50.1 reflector. Its collimated red laser beam (655 nm, Class 1) forms a 3 mm round light spot at 1,000 mm with a ±2° shift angle for pinpoint accuracy.

The sensor delivers a swift 0.17 ms response time and operates at a high switching frequency of 3,000 Hz, making it ideal for demanding, high-speed applications. It features a PNP output with light switching for accurate signal handling. The sensor offers quick sensitivity configuration via the integrated Teach button, enabling fast and intuitive setup. Additional functions include light/dark switching and a keyboard lockout for secure operation.

The housing is made of durable PC-ABS, paired with a PMMA lens cover for optical clarity. It includes a metal M8 4-pin connector for reliable electrical connections. The compact size (11.4 × 34.2 × 18.3 mm) allows for flexible installation in tight spaces. With IP67/IP69K ratings and ECOLAB certification, the sensor delivers robust performance in harsh environments. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to +55°C.
