The Leuze PRK25C/4P-M12 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 50134279) is a high-precision photoelectric sensor designed for reliable object detection in demanding industrial environments. Operating on the reflection principle, it offers a guaranteed sensing range of up to 10 m and a typical range of 12 m when used with a TK(S) 100×100 reflector. The sensor uses a red LED light source (640 nm) with a pulsed signal, ensuring stable detection even under challenging ambient conditions.

Equipped with a PNP transistor output, the PRK25C supports both light switching and dark switching, providing flexibility for different control logic requirements. Its fast response time of 0.33 ms and switching frequency of 1,500 Hz make it suitable for high-speed automation applications.

Housed in a compact ABS plastic enclosure, the sensor features IP67 and IP69K protection, making it resistant to dust, water, and high-pressure washdowns. With an M12 4-pin connector and wide operating temperature range, it is ideal for manufacturing, packaging, and material handling systems.
