The Leuze ODSL96BM/D26-2000-S12 Optical Sensor (Part No. 50106597, ODSL96BMD262000S12, ODSL 96B M/D26-2000-S12) is a high-precision optical distance sensor designed for reliable measurement in industrial automation applications. It uses a red 655 nm laser and triangulation principle to measure distances from 150 to 2,000 mm.

The sensor provides 1.0 to 3.0 mm resolution, with 1.50% accuracy and 0.50% repeatability, supporting consistent distance measurement. Its rectangular laser spot measures 2 mm × 6 mm at 2,000 mm. The sensor operates on 10–30 V DC and features a push-pull digital switching output with RS-232 communication.

A 5-pin A-coded M12 connector ensures secure connectivity. The robust diecast zinc housing with glass lens cover offers IP67 and IP69K protection, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments. Software configuration and LED/OLED display provide convenient setup and monitoring.
