Leuze KFX-ET-620 Fibre Head

The Leuze KFX-ET-620 Fibre Head (KFXET620, 50117752) is a high-performance plastic fiber optic sensor designed for general-purpose applications requiring precise object detection. Operating on the diffuse reflection principle, it provides reliable performance across various environments. The sensor features a 1 mm active fiber core made from durable plastic, ensuring excellent signal transmission and flexibility. Its front light beam exit allows for straightforward alignment and installation in tight spaces.

With compatibility across multiple amplifiers, such as LV461, LV462, LV463, LV463.XV, LV463.XR, and LV463I.XR, it achieves an extended operating range of up to 650 mm, making it adaptable to a wide range of application demands. It can detect objects as small as 0.2 mm, enabling high-precision sensing in delicate or compact setups.

The cylindrical design with a 2.2 mm outer diameter and M6 x 0.75 mm fastening thread ensures easy and secure mounting. A stainless steel head enhances mechanical strength and durability, while the PE sheathing provides flexibility and resistance to environmental stress. The sensor’s minimum bending radius (R25) ensures consistent performance even in dynamic installations.

With an operating temperature range from -55 °C to +70 °C, it is suited for harsh industrial conditions. Its 15 mm sleeve length at the optical outlet and 210 dB/km damping at 650 nm further underscore its capability for accurate and efficient sensing across diverse applications.
