The Leuze HT3CL1/4P-M8 Diffuse Sensor (Part No. 50129391) is a high-precision laser diffuse photoelectric sensor designed for reliable object detection with background suppression in compact automation applications. Using a collimated red laser (650 nm, Class 1), it ensures accurate detection independent of object color, with a black-white error below 10% up to 170 mm.

This sensor offers a guaranteed operating range up to 400 mm, with optimized performance across white (90%), Gray (18%), and black (6%) surfaces. Its fast response time of 0.16 ms and 3,000 Hz switching frequency make it ideal for high-speed production lines, packaging machines, and precise positioning tasks.

The PNP digital switching output (light switching) operates on a 10–30 V DC supply and connects via a 4-pin M8 male connector. Housed in a compact PC-ABS enclosure, the sensor features IP67 and IP69K protection, ECOLAB compatibility, and a multiturn potentiometer for precise range adjustment, ensuring durability even in wash-down environments.
