Leuze HT23/2 Diffuse Sensor with Background Suppression

The Leuze HT23/2 Diffuse sensor with background suppression (Part No. 50138442) from the Series 23 is a compact diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor with background suppression, ideal for precise object detection at short distances. It offers a focused red LED beam (645 nm) with a fixed focal distance of 200 mm, delivering reliable detection up to 400 mm, even for low-reflectivity targets.

Engineered for accuracy, it maintains a <15% black-white error up to 200 mm and operates with a fast 0.5 ms response time and 1,000 Hz switching frequency. The NPN output supports light switching mode. A multiturn potentiometer allows easy range adjustment, while a status LED provides at-a-glance diagnostics.

The sensor features a durable PC-ABS housing, IP67 protection, and a 2-meter PUR cable for industrial use in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C. Certified to IEC 60947-5-2 and c UL US standards.
