The Leuze FT328I.X3/4P Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 50133940) is a high-precision diffuse reflection photoelectric sensor from the 328 series, optimized for the detection of dark objects at short ranges. Featuring V-optics and an infrared LED (850 nm) light source, this sensor ensures reliable object recognition even with low-reflectivity surfaces. The unit supports light and dark switching via a PNP transistor output, with a switching frequency of 500 Hz and a response time of just 1 ms, making it suitable for fast-paced automation tasks.

The sensor offers a typical sensing range up to 130 mm (white 90%) and operates reliably down to 6% reflectivity (black objects). Built into a robust M18 x 1 mm housing made of stainless steel and ABS plastic, it provides an IP67 protection rating for use in demanding environments. A 2-meter PUR cable ensures simple connection, and teach-in functionality allows for easy setup. It operates over a wide temperature range of -40 to +60 °C.
