The Leuze FT28.3/4P Diffuse Sensor (Part No.50122592) is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for reliable object detection using the diffuse reflection principle. It offers a maximum sensing range up to 0.21 m (white objects) and maintains stable detection across different surface reflectivity's, including grey and black targets.

Equipped with a red LED light source (620 nm) and pulsed signal transmission, the sensor ensures precise and interference-resistant operation. It features dual PNP switching outputs supporting both light switching and dark switching modes, providing flexibility in various automation applications. With a fast response time of 1 ms and 500 Hz switching frequency, it is ideal for high-speed processes.

The sensor operates on a 10–30 V DC supply, includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, and comes with a robust IP67-rated ABS housing. A built-in teach button and dual LED indicators simplify setup and monitoring, while the -40°C to 60°C operating range ensures performance in harsh environments.
