The Leuze EI1058-S10X20C-5000H-050A Rotary Encoder (50140914), part of the renowned EI 1xxx series, is designed to deliver high-resolution feedback for precise motion control and automation applications. Offering a resolution of 5,000 pulses per revolution, it enables highly accurate speed and position detection, ensuring seamless integration into demanding industrial systems.

Engineered for dynamic performance, the encoder supports operating speeds up to 6,000 r/min and a switching frequency of 300 kHz, allowing it to meet the requirements of modern high-speed machinery. Its wide supply voltage range (5 … 28 V DC) ensures versatility across diverse installations, while HTL signal output guarantees stable and reliable communication with control units.

Built with a robust aluminum housing and clamping flange design, it provides mechanical strength and long-term durability. The encoder’s 10 mm shaft (Ø × 20 mm length), low start-up torque of 0.5 N·m, and ability to withstand axial loads up to 60 N and radial loads up to 120 N make it ideal for continuous heavy-duty operation.

With a 5,000 mm PVC-sheathed axial cable for reliable connections, an IP65 protection rating, and an extended temperature range (-40 … +70 °C), this encoder ensures consistent performance even in harsh industrial environments.
