Leuze EI1058-S10x20C-2500H-050R Rotary Encoder

The Leuze EI1058-S10x20C-2500H-050R Rotary Encoder (50150178), part of the renowned EI 1xxx series, is a high-precision incremental rotary encoder from the EI 1xxx series, designed for accurate motion feedback in industrial automation and control systems.

This encoder offers an enhanced resolution of 2,500 pulses per revolution (p/r), enabling finer position and speed measurement compared to standard models. It supports a maximum operating speed of 6,000 rpm and features a high switching frequency of 300 kHz, ensuring fast and reliable signal processing. With an HTL output and a wide supply range of 5–28 V DC, it integrates easily with PLCs and control units.

The unit is built with a durable aluminum housing and clamping flange, featuring a 10 mm shaft diameter. It can withstand axial loads up to 60 N and radial loads up to 120 N, making it suitable for demanding mechanical environments.

Equipped with a 5 m radial cable (8-wire) and IP65 protection, it ensures flexible installation and resistance to dust and splashes. Ideal for motors, conveyors, and precision automation systems.
