The Kyocera KG057QV1CA-G050 LCD Module  is 5.7-inch FSTN-LCD module is a straightforward yet robust solution for applications that prioritize low power consumption and simple monochrome display requirements. Featuring a QVGA resolution of 320 × 240 with a 70 PPI pixel density, it provides basic graphical fidelity suitable for text-heavy interfaces, simple diagnostics, or legacy system integration.

The Kyocera 5.7-inch display integrates a 115.2(W) × 86.4(H) mm active area into a compact 144 × 104.8 × 13.2 mm frame, allowing it to fit efficiently into space-constrained control panels and embedded systems. It delivers a typical luminance of 220 cd/m², offering decent visibility in environments with moderate ambient light. However, its modest 40:1 contrast ratio and limited viewing angles (45/45/30/40° at CR≥2) confine its optimal use to head-on viewing in well-controlled lighting. Despite these limitations, it serves reliably in applications where consistent positioning and readability are prioritized over wide-angle performance.

The FSTN technology does offer improved clarity over standard STN panels, but the panel’s glare surface (Haze 0%) may cause some reflectivity in bright environments.This monochrome display operates in STN, transmissive mode, providing balanced visibility and energy efficiency. Though it features a slow 500 ms response time, it remains suitable for static or infrequently changing content.

The backlight is powered by a single CCFL tube, rated for up to 58,000 hours of lifespan, supporting extended operational use. It accepts a 3.3V or 5.0V power supply, providing flexibility in different system architectures.

  • It is a front polarizer. It may damaged. Please be cautious. Don’t scratch it.
  • Always turn off the power supply when you are inserting or disconnecting it from input connector.
  • Wipe off water drop immediately as it may cause discoloration or spots.
  • Please handle with great care. It may broken or cracked if dropped or bumped on hard surface.
  • Do not try to open or modify the module assembly.
  • At the insertion or removal of the Signal Interface Connector, be sure not to rotate nor tilt the Interface Connector of the TFT Module it may damage the panel.
  • Severe temperature condition may  result in different luminance, response time.
