Datalogic S5N-PR-5-B01-PP Photoelectric Sensor

The Datalogic S5N-MH-5-B01-PP Photoelectric Sensor (952021961) is a high-performance M18 polarized retroreflective laser photoelectric sensor designed for long-range, high-precision object detection in demanding industrial automation environments. Featuring an impressive 9 m nominal sensing distance, this sensor provides accurate and reliable detection for conveyors, packaging machines, logistics systems, automated warehouses, and material handling applications.

Its Red Laser emitter ensures exceptional sensing accuracy, while the radial 90° optic design simplifies installation where space is limited. Equipped with PNP NO+NC outputs, the sensor offers flexible integration with PLCs and industrial control systems. A 1.5 kHz switching frequency and ultra-fast 333 µs response time enable dependable performance in high-speed production lines. The trimmer sensitivity adjustment allows precise calibration for different targets and operating conditions.

Constructed with a rugged nickel-plated brass housing and durable PMMA optical head, the sensor delivers excellent durability and long service life. Its IP67 protection rating ensures reliable operation in dusty and wet industrial environments. Additional features include short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, yellow OUTPUT LED, green STABILITY LED, and a secure M12 plug connection for quick installation. CE and cULus certifications guarantee compliance with international industrial standards.
