Datalogic  Photoelectric Sensor(Part Number 952002180) is a robust sensor from the S50 series, engineered for precise proximity detection in industrial environments. It offers an operating distance of 0 to 40 cm, with a sensitivity adjustable via a convenient trimmer control. The unit operates on a 10–30 VDC supply and actively protects against electrical surges, meeting Class 2 standards.

The sensor utilizes an infrared LED at 880 nm, ensuring reliable performance with minimal power consumption. The PNP output not only supports both NO (light-on) and NC (dark-on) configurations but also efficiently handles currents up to 100 mA, all while maintaining a low saturation voltage of ≤ 2 V. Moreover, the housing, crafted from durable PBT, enhances the unit's robustness. Additionally, the PMMA lens construction ensures long-term reliability, even in challenging environments.
