Datalogic S5N-PR-5-B01-NN Photoelectric Sensor

The Datalogic S3Z-PR-5-M01-PL Photoelectric Sensor (95B010351) is a compact miniature photoelectric sensor featuring Background Suppression (BGS) technology for precise and reliable object detection in industrial automation. With a 300 mm sensing distance and a 100–300 mm adjustable sensing range, it accurately detects objects regardless of background color or surface reflectivity, making it ideal for packaging, conveyors, assembly lines, material handling, and automated production systems.

The Red LED (670 nm) light source provides stable and highly visible detection performance, while the radial 90° optic simplifies installation in confined spaces. Equipped with a PNP Light-ON output, 500 Hz switching frequency, and 1 ms response time, the sensor ensures fast and dependable operation in demanding applications. The trimmer sensitivity adjustment enables easy optimization for different target materials.

Built with a durable PBT/PMMA plastic housing and PMMA lens, it offers excellent resistance to industrial wear. Its IP67 protection rating safeguards against dust and water, ensuring long-lasting reliability. Additional features include short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, overvoltage protection, and a convenient M8 4-pin connector for quick installation. CE and cULus certifications confirm compliance with international industrial standards.
