BTH BU-15K U-Shape Photo Sensor

The BTH BU-15K is a U-Shape Photo Sensor engineered for accurate detection of small opaque objects down to Ø0.5 mm. With a 15 mm slot width, it utilizes a 940 nm infrared LED to deliver stable, non-contact sensing in a wide range of industrial applications. It supports PNP/NPN, NO/NC, and light-on/dark-on modes, offering flexible system compatibility.

Operating at 12–24 VDC, it draws a maximum of 18 mA and handles up to 100 mA load current. Its 1 ms response time ensures reliable performance in high-speed processes. Built from durable PC material, the BU-15K is rated IP64 for protection against dust and splashes. It resists shock (50G) and vibration across all axes, and performs reliably in temperatures from -10°C to +55°C. The sensor comes pre-wired with a 2 m cable for simple installation.
