The Baumer IGYX18P17B3/L Proximity Sensor (IGYX 18P17B3/L,  11078866)  is an inductive proximity switch designed for quasi-flush mounting with an 8mm nominal sensing distance (Sn) and 6.4mm assured sensing distance (Sa). It operates within a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and features a PNP make function (NO) output circuit.

The sensor features a cylindrical threaded design, with a brass nickel-plated housing and a red PBT sensing face. Its compact housing measures 50 mm in length.

For installation, the sensor comes with a 2-meter-long cable and can withstand a maximum tightening torque of 25 Nm. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and meets IP67 protection class standards, providing resistance against dust and temporary immersion in water.
