Baumer IGYX18N17B3/L Proximity Sensor

The Baumer IGYX18N17B3/L Proximity Sensor, Part Number 11078881, is an inductive proximity switch designed for quasi-flush mounting. It offers a nominal sensing distance (Sn) of 8 mm and an assured sensing distance (Sa) of 6.4 mm. The sensor has a temperature drift of ± 10% of Sr (0 ... +60 °C) and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and a switching frequency of 400 Hz.

The Baumer IGYX18N17B3/L Proximity Sensor operates within a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA when unloaded. It uses an NPN make function (NO) output circuit, with a voltage drop (Vd) of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of up to 200 mA. The device includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its cylindrical threaded design is constructed from brass, nickel-plated housing, with a PBT red sensing face, and it has a housing length of 50 mm.

The IGYX 18N17B3/L connects via a 2-meter-long cable and can withstand a maximum tightening torque of 25 Nm. It operates in temperatures ranging from -25 to +75 °C and meets IP67 protection standards. This sensor is manufactured in Macedonia.
