The Banner QS18VN6R Photoelectric sensor from the QS18 series, designed for industrial automation and long-range object detection. Operating as a receiver in opposed mode, it works with an emitter to provide reliable sensing using a visible red or infrared (IR) beam.

Housed in a durable ABS rectangular body with an M18 mount, the QS18VN6R is built to withstand harsh industrial environments. It is rated IP67 and NEMA 4X, ensuring protection against dust, water, and challenging conditions. With a maximum sensing distance of 20,000 mm, this sensor is ideal for long-range detection applications.

The QS18VN6R operates on a 10-30V DC power supply and features a discrete NPN output for seamless integration into control systems. It comes with a 2-meter cable connection for easy installation. The light/dark operate function provides flexibility in different detection scenarios.

With a fast output response time of 0.75 ms (ON) and 0.375 ms (OFF), the sensor ensures high-speed detection performance. The repeatability of 100 µs enhances accuracy, while the 100 ms power-up delay stabilizes operation. It functions in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C and withstands up to 95% relative humidity at 50°C.

The sensor features LED indicators for status monitoring, an acrylic lens for durability, and a compact 18mm barrel diameter for versatile mounting.
