The Autonics BJ1M-DDT Diffuse Sensor is a high-precision diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor designed for reliable object detection in industrial automation environments. With a sensing distance of up to 1 meter, it accurately detects opaque and translucent materials without requiring a reflector, simplifying installation and reducing setup time.

Equipped with an infrared LED (850 nm), the sensor ensures stable detection even under varying ambient light conditions. It supports Light ON / Dark ON operation, selectable via a switch, and features an NPN open-collector output for seamless integration with standard control systems. Operating on a 12–24 V DC power supply with low current consumption (max. 30 mA), it delivers energy-efficient performance.

The IP65 protection rating, combined with a robust polycarbonate + ABS housing, makes the BJ1M-DDT suitable for harsh industrial conditions. With wide temperature tolerance and built-in sensitivity adjustment, it is ideal for packaging, assembly lines, and material handling applications.
