The Panasonic EX-L261 Laser Sensor is an ultra-compact, amplifier built-in laser sensor designed for precision sensing in industrial environments. Featuring a convergent reflective type of detection method, it offers a sensing range of 20 to 50 mm, with a convergent point at 22 mm, ideal for detecting opaque, translucent, or transparent objects.

With a typical emission spot size of 1 mm and the ability to detect objects as small as 0.01 mm gold wire, it ensures high accuracy. The sensor supports NPN open-collector transistor output with Light-ON/Dark-ON selection, and a fast response time of 0.5 ms.

Its IP67-rated enclosure provides protection against water and dust, making it suitable for harsh environments. Built with durable materials like polybutylene terephthalate and glass, the sensor also includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. Powered by 12–24V DC, it operates reliably between -10°C to +55°C, with up to 50 m cable extension supported.
