Sick WL12-3P2431 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick WL12-3P2431 Photoelectric Sensor (1041436) is a robust photoelectric retro-reflective sensor designed for reliable object detection in demanding industrial environments.

Using autocollimation/coaxial optics, it eliminates minimum reflector distance issues and ensures precise detection over a sensing range up to 5 m (maximum 7 m). The integrated polarisation filter enables dependable recognition of shiny or reflective objects. Equipped with a visible red LED light source (640 nm) and a clearly defined Ø 100 mm light spot at 3 m, the sensor offers excellent alignment and stability.

It features PNP complementary output with light/dark switching, supporting flexible control logic. With a fast response time of ≤ 330 µs and 1,500 Hz switching frequency, it is ideal for high-speed applications. The metal housing and IP66, IP67, IP69K enclosure ratings ensure durability, even in washdown and harsh operating conditions.
