The Sick WF5-40B410 Fork Sensor (Part No. 6028429) is a high-precision optical detection device designed for label and small object detection in fast automation processes. Featuring a compact fork design (5 mm width, 42 mm depth), it ensures accurate sensing in tight spaces.

The sensor uses a reliable infrared LED light source, enabling detection of objects as small as 0.2 mm. With a high switching frequency of 10 kHz and fast response time ≤100 µs, it is ideal for high-speed applications like packaging and labelling machines.

The device supports PNP/NPN outputs with light/dark switching selectable via button, offering flexibility in integration. Its robust aluminium housing and IP65 protection rating ensure durability in industrial environments, while the M8 4-pin connector enables quick and secure installation.
