Sick GL6G-P1211 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick GL6G-P1211 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 1059924) from SICK is a compact photoelectric retro-reflective sensor designed for reliable object detection in industrial automation applications. Its dual-lens system provides a minimum distance to the reflector, making it suitable for precise detection, including transparent objects.

The sensor offers a 0.07 m to 5 m sensing range and uses a visible red PinPoint LED with a 650 nm wavelength. A 270° potentiometer allows convenient adjustment, while selectable light/dark switching provides flexible operation.

With a PNP output, fast response time below 625 µs, and switching frequency up to 1,000 Hz, it supports high-speed applications. The IP67-rated ABS/PC housing provides reliable protection in demanding industrial environments. It operates from 10–30 V DC and includes a 2 m, 3-wire cable.
