The (Pepperl+Fuchs) P&F NJ5-11-N-G Inductive Sensor (NJ511NG) sensor, is a high-reliability NAMUR inductive proximity sensor engineered for use in hazardous environments and safety-critical applications. With a 5 mm rated sensing distance and non-flush M14 stainless steel housing, it offers consistent performance across a wide range of materials, with reduction factors for aluminium (0.4), copper (0.3), and stainless steel (0.85).

This sensor features a normally closed (NC) switching function, operates on a 2-wire NAMUR interface (8.2 V nominal), and supports switching frequencies up to 3,000 Hz. It is certified for SIL2 applications, with global hazardous area approvals including ATEX, IECEx, and UL. With an IP68 rating, wide -25 to 100 °C temperature range, and a durable 2 m PVC cable, it ensures long-lasting operation in demanding conditions.
