    Panasonic NA2-N12 Area Sensor

    The Panasonic NA2-N12 Area Sensor, identified by part number UNA2N12, NA2N12, is a compact and reliable 12-beam area sensor designed for general-purpose object detection in industrial settings. It offers a sensing height of 220 mm and a long-range detection capability up to 5 m, with a beam pitch of 20 mm for precise sensing of opaque objects with diameters of 30 mm or more.

    Operating on 12–24 V DC, the sensor features NPN open-collector output, short-circuit protection, and job indicator LEDs on both the emitter and receiver. Response time is 10 ms or less, with an interference prevention function built in for stable multi-unit operation. The sensor is housed in a heat-resistant ABS enclosure with polyester lens covers, rated IP40, and includes a 3 m 4-core cable with extension support up to 25 m.

    Ideal for part detection, counting, or presence verification, the NA2-N12 ensures dependable operation in industrial automation.
