The Omron E3Z-LS81-UL 2M Photoelectric Sensor is a compact, square-type sensor engineered for precise distance detection in industrial automation. With a sensing range of 20 to 200 mm, it supports adjusted detection of white and black targets (40–200 mm for white paper, 40–160 mm for black paper). A red LED light source (670 nm) ensures accurate and consistent performance, with minimal differential error (<10%).

This sensor features a PNP open-collector output (max 100 mA at 26.4 VDC) and Light-ON/Dark-ON mode selection for application flexibility. A 5-turn endless sensitivity adjustment dial allows fine calibration. Designed for fast-paced environments, it offers a 1 ms response time and includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection.

Constructed from PBT and denatured polyarylate, the sensor is IP67-rated for water and dust resistance and withstands temperatures from -25°C to 55°C. Dual LED indicators (green for stability, orange for operation) simplify monitoring. The E3Z-LS81-UL is a dependable solution for accurate, close-range sensing in challenging environments.
