The Leuze PRK15/4X-M12 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 50134362) is a compact retro-reflective photoelectric sensor from the Series 15, designed for reliable object detection over long distances in industrial automation. Operating on the reflection principle, it delivers a guaranteed sensing range of up to 8 meters and a typical range of up to 10 meters when used with a suitable reflector (TK(S) 100×100).

Equipped with a red LED light source (640 nm) and pulsed signal transmission, this sensor ensures stable detection even in environments with ambient light interference. It features a PNP digital switching output with light-switching logic, a fast response time of 1 ms, and a switching frequency of 500 Hz, making it suitable for high-speed automation tasks.

The PRK15/4X-M12 operates on a 10–30 V DC supply, uses a 4-pin M12 male connector, and is housed in a durable ABS plastic enclosure. With a compact design (15 × 42.7 × 30 mm), IP67 protection, wide operating temperature range (-40 to +60 °C), and compliance with IEC 60947-5-2, it is ideal for conveying systems, packaging machines, material handling, and general factory automation.
