Leuze HT5.1/4X-M8 Diffuse sensor

The Leuze HT5.1/4X-M8 Diffuse sensor (HT514XM8), with part number 50129401, operates on the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression. It offers a guaranteed operating range with precise detection capabilities for white, gray, and black surfaces. With a focused beam path and a red LED light source emitting at 645 nm, it ensures accurate detection within an adjustment range of 15 to 400 mm.

The Leuze HT5.1/4X-M8 Diffuse sensor is compact design, weighing just 10 g, and its plastic housing make it suitable for various industrial applications. The sensor has an open-circuit current ranging from 0 to 15 mA, ensuring efficient power consumption. Its switching element is a PNP transistor, facilitating reliable switching operations. The sensor swiftly responds to changes in light intensity with a frequency of 1,000 Hz.

It features a male M8 connector for easy connection, and operational controls include a multiturn potentiometer for range adjustment. With an operational temperature range from -40 to 60 °C and storage temperature range from -40 to 70 °C, it's designed to withstand challenging environmental conditions.
