Leuze HT23/4 Diffuse Sensor

The Leuze HT23/4 Diffuse Sensor (Part No. 50138443) is a compact and precise diffuse photoelectric sensor with background suppression, designed for reliable object detection regardless of color variations. Belonging to Series 23, it uses a focused red LED light source (645 nm) with a fixed focal distance of 200 mm, ensuring accurate detection within a typical operating range of 5 to 400 mm.

The sensor maintains a low black–white error below 15%, delivering stable performance on white, gray, and black targets. Equipped with a PNP transistor digital output and light switching principle, it supports a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz and a fast 0.5 ms response time, making it suitable for dynamic automation tasks.

The multiturn potentiometer allows precise range adjustment. With a rugged IP67-rated housing, PUR cable, and wide –40 to +60 °C operating temperature, the HT23/4 performs reliably in harsh industrial environments.
