Banner QS18VP6AF100 : Background Suppression Sensor

The Banner QS18VP6AF100 Photoelectric Sensor is a precision-engineered proximity sensor designed for close-range object detection with a maximum sensing distance of 100 mm. Featuring adjustable background suppression, it reliably detects objects while ignoring reflective or variable backgrounds—perfect for dynamic or cluttered environments.

Built in a durable rectangular ABS enclosure, this sensor meets IP67 and NEMA 4X standards, ensuring resistance to dust, water, and industrial contaminants. It operates in conditions up to 55°C and 95% relative humidity, maintaining stable performance in challenging settings.

The sensor uses a visible red LED beam (640 nm) for simple visual alignment. With a PNP discrete output that supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, configuration is flexible using the mechanical screw adjustment. Its rapid 0.7 ms response time and 175 µs repeatability make it ideal for fast-paced automation tasks.

Powered by 10–30 V DC, and equipped with a 2-meter cable and LED indicators, the QS18VP6AF100 ensures easy integration and monitoring across industrial applications.
