The Banner QS18VN6AF350 Photoelectric Sensor is engineered for precision proximity detection in industrial environments. Utilizing adjustable background suppression, it ensures reliable object detection while effectively ignoring unwanted backgrounds—ideal for applications with reflective surfaces or changing lighting. With a maximum sensing distance of 100 mm, it excels in close-range detection tasks.

This sensor features a discrete NPN output and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, adjustable via a mechanical screw for installation flexibility. A visible red LED (640 nm) enables easy alignment and setup. With a response time of 0.7 ms and repeatability of 175 µs, the QS18VN6AF350 offers fast and consistent detection in dynamic automation environments.

Housed in a rugged ABS rectangular enclosure, it is rated IP67 and NEMA 4X, protecting against dust, water, and harsh conditions. It operates reliably in temperatures up to 55°C and relative humidity up to 95% at 50°C. Powered by 10–30 V DC, and equipped with a 2-meter cable and status LEDs, it offers easy installation and reliable feedback.
