The Autonics BPS3M-TDTL Photoelectronic Sensor is a compact through-beam photoelectric sensor designed for reliable object detection over a distance of up to 3 meters. Utilizing an infrared LED (850 nm) as its light source, it accurately detects opaque targets as small as 5 mm in diameter. With a fast response time of 1 ms, this sensor is ideal for applications requiring quick and precise detection in automation systems.

Operating on a 12–24 VDC power supply, the sensor features a PNP open collector output and operates in Light ON mode. The cable-type connection (Ø3, 2 m) ensures flexible installation. It boasts low power consumption (max. 20 mA per emitter/receiver) and delivers stable performance even in challenging lighting conditions, tolerating sunlight up to 11,000 lx.

Constructed with a polycarbonate case and chrome-molybdenum steel hardware, the BPS3M-TDTL offers IP67 protection, ensuring long-lasting durability in dusty, wet, or demanding industrial environments.
