Sick WSE8-P2131S01 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick WSE8-P2131S01 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 6071912) is a compact and high-speed through-beam photoelectric sensor engineered for precise detection of fast-moving objects in automated systems. With a slim rectangular housing (11 × 31 × 20 mm), it fits easily into confined installation spaces.

The sensor offers a maximum sensing range of up to 10 m and a reliable operating range of 8 m, ensuring stable performance in demanding applications. Using a visible red LED light source (650 nm) with a Ø 30 mm light spot at 1 m, it delivers accurate object detection even at high speeds.

The PNP switching output supports light/dark switching, selectable via a 270° potentiometer, allowing flexible configuration. Operating on 10–30 V DC, with fast response time ≤ 0.25 ms and 2,000 Hz switching frequency, it suits high-speed production lines. The IP67-rated ABS housing, wide temperature tolerance, and included stainless steel mounting brackets ensure durability and easy installation.
