Sick GL6G-N4212 Photoelectric Sensor

The Sick GL6G-N4212 Photoelectric Sensor (Part No. 1060809) from SICK is a high-precision sensing solution designed for reliable object detection, including transparent materials. Utilizing a dual lens system with polarization filter, it ensures accurate detection with minimal interference.

The PinPoint LED (650 nm visible red light) delivers a focused Ø 8 mm light spot, supporting a sensing range of 0.07 m to 5 m, extendable up to 6 m. Equipped with an NPN output and selectable light/dark switching, it offers flexible integration into automation systems.

With a fast response time (<625 µs) and 1,000 Hz switching frequency, it is ideal for high-speed operations. The sensor includes a reflector and mounting bracket and features a durable IP67-rated housing, making it suitable for packaging, conveyor systems, and industrial automation environments.
